Nürburgring GP under threat

I really like this track and would be very upset to see it removed off the F1 calendar. :(

All of the dates on the F1 calendar are constantly under threat because they stopped making decisions based on where their fan base can see races live years ago. All anyone or any nation with the scratch has to do it put up money for a modern facility(usually a boring and super wide track with little elevation change and no quality passing zones) and then outbid existing events for a date.

The F1 track at Nuerburgring is somewhat mediocre when compared to the Nordschleife.
