2008 Novice Driver's School - April 12
2008 School Info -
Location: Eastlake Captains Stadium 35300 Vine Street Eastlake, OH 44095
Arrive & Registration 8AM
Start time 9AM
Lunch 12PM
Autocross 1PM-3:30???
The school will be divided into our traditional 4 separate parts...
1. Launch and Braking control -morning
2. Corning and Slalom control -morning
3. Classroom - morning
4. Autocross -afternoon
We will begin the morning with 3 separate groups - Corning&Slaloming, Launch&Braking, and Classroom.
The two driving area will teach you various aspects of car control and help you get a feel for some of the limits of what you and your car can do. The classroom will cover the basics of driving, performance tuning, and car preparation for all the new people. It will be more advanced for the more experienced drivers and be more of an open forum to discuss how to get the last few tenths you need to win.
After a lunch break, we will have a full autocross in the afternoon. Normally about 8-10 runs each.
Price is $60 for members and $65 for nonmembers and includes the school and next days event. There are lots of close gas stations, food, and stores all within walking distance.
