I know audi and them do up in ALMS, but has anyone ever taken say a civic or camaro and turboed it, then blasted around the track for 30 minutes or an hour with this aftermarket turbo. I see even some evos/wrx's are over heating after being on the course for a bit, and they were enginered to be on the car from the factory.

So anyone ever successfuly do it?

Current factory cars that are successful at it are rare. The Porsches leap to mind as being good at it. The latest Ford GT500 is not. The Solstice seemed to do well in SCCA racing.

I do not see very many aftermarket systems on the podiums in club racing though.
